As the financial landscape grows increasingly complex and volatile, the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector is under heightened pressure to ensure operational resilience. This paper examines how blockchain technology, particularly in its applications to immutable audit trails and real-time risk intelligence systems, is reshaping resilience paradigms. With increasing regulatory demands, cyber threats, and system interdependencies, traditional resilience frameworks are proving inadequate. Blockchain’s decentralized, tamper-evident architecture offers a robust solution for transparent, traceable, and real-time data integrity. This paper integrates historical perspectives from literature with recent developments, proposing a model that leverages blockchain’s features to enhance adaptive capacity and systemic robustness across the BFSI ecosystem
